What you can expect from this role
- Work as Team Lead RN based in the Emergency Department, but expertise in Behavioral Health throughout the Hospital
- Teach/mentor RNs in de-escalation techniques, restraint protocols, safety, psychopharmacology and other behavioral health topics throughout hospital
- Supports Code Grays events; may conduct debriefings with staff
- May do chart audits for restraint documentation
- Training and orientation provided for this role
- Continuing education scholarships - including conferences, certification, licensure
- Certification pay available
- Full-time (0.9 FTE) EVENING shift position 1130-0000; 3 x 12 hour shifts/week, rotating weekends and holidays
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
- Experience: 3 years' RN experience; acute care nursing experience and Behavioral Health nursing experience highly preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
